Marktstraße is open again! This means that traffic through the city center is flowing as usual again - and this also applies to local public transport. Since the start of school after the fall vacations, various bus lines and public buses have been running again via Marktstraße. Please note: There are new and changed bus stops!
Two new stops have been set up in both directions so that you can board the bus conveniently and centrally - both at the level of the Theaterpassage.
Rathaus" stop - towards the city center (in the direction of the train station)
Location: Directly opposite Peter-Plümpe-Platz/ Theaterpassage
Stop here:
- Line 73 (Kevelaer - Twisteden - Airport Weeze)
- Citizen bus Wetten
- Twisteden community bus
- Citizens' bus Winnekendonk
Rathaus" stop - out of town (direction Twistedener Straße)
Location: Directly at Peter-Plümpe-Platz
Stop here:
- Line 73 (Kevelaer - Twisteden - Airport Weeze)
- Citizens' bus Kervenheim
- Citizens' bus Winnekendonk
- Twisteden community bus
In future, the SB 46 line (Kevelaer - Twisteden - Weeze Airport - Arnhem) will also stop here - this is already being planned.
The "Altes Rathaus" stop remains
Location: As usual at Karl-Dingermann-Platz (out of town in the direction of Twistedener Straße)
The bus will continue to stop here:
- Bürgerbus Wetten - The bus comes from Busmannstraße and therefore cannot serve the new "Rathaus" stop in this direction.
Our tip
Please take a quick look at the current timetables before your next journey - there may still be minor changes due to the changes.
Thank you for your understanding - and have a good trip through our city center!
