Notes
Department 4.3 "Security and Order" - Public Order Office - is generally responsible for the prevention of threats to public safety or order in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer. The Public Order Office is therefore your point of contact for various areas of daily life. Do you have questions about keeping a dog or has there been a (biting) incident with another dog? Would you like to register, de-register or re-register your business? Have you received a warning for a parking violation? Would you like to inquire about lost items (wallet, watch, smartphone, keys, etc.) or a lost bicycle? Do you want to apply for a fishing license or renew your expired fishing license? Would you like to enquire about a stand at the municipal markets? Then you will always find the right contact person at the Public Order Office and the staff working here.
In addition to the areas mentioned above, the Public Order Office is often the first point of contact when citizens and visitors to the city make general observations in the city area (found animals, traffic obstructions due to property planting, etc.).
On the municipal websites and the services presented here, you will find further basic information on the tasks of the Public Order Office, application forms, information on required documents and legal provisions.
