Construction work in connection with the Aent Vorst industrial estate is progressing. In the next step, a section of Bundesstraße 9 (B9) / Kölner Straße will be closed on one side from April 28, 2026 and the roadway will be repaired, among other things. To carry out the work, the section will be temporarily set up as a one-way road. There will be an emergency traffic light for the emergency services.
This affects the area between the ramp to OW 1 and the traffic circle at Burger King.
Driving in the direction of Geldern remains possible. A detour will be signposted for vehicles coming from Geldern and heading towards Weeze. There will also be a detour for cyclists.
The traffic restrictions are expected to last until the end of August 2026.
