  • Do I need a user account?

    Not for most online services. You can use many services directly and without registering.

    For security reasons, it is necessary to log in for individual applications - either with the federal user account (BundID) or with the eID function of your ID card. The respective online service will inform you if this is the case.

  • What happens if a signature is required?

    For some applications, a personal signature is required for legal reasons. In these cases, you will be asked to print out the form at the end of the process, sign it and send it to us or hand it in at the town hall. This is also easy - the form is then already completed.
