Going through life together for half a century or even longer is a special event that deserves recognition. Whether it's a golden, diamond, iron or grace wedding - we congratulate the celebrating couples from the bottom of our hearts.
What's new?
Up to now, we have proactively contacted couples who got married in Kevelaer and live here based on the registration data. However, couples who later moved to Kevelaer or got married outside of Kevelaer were often not recorded.
To make sure,
- that we do not overlook anyone and
- that we only congratulate where it is expressly requested,
we would ask you to let us know your anniversary if you would like us to congratulate you.
This means that all married couples in Kevelaer are treated equally - regardless of where they got married or how long they have lived here. And attentive children, grandchildren, friends or neighbors also have the opportunity to inform us of their upcoming anniversary.
It's so easy to register your anniversary
If you would like us to congratulate you, please send a message to the mayor's office. Registration can be made by the couple themselves or by a third party.
