Food waste often occurs without necessity and should be avoided for reasons of environmental protection, the sustainable and careful use of resources and due to the high ethical implications of the issue.
In Germany, too, there are numerous initiatives and information opportunities in connection with the topic of food waste. To make it easier for citizens to find their way around and to encourage them to get involved with this topic, the waste advisory service of the Kreis-Kleve-Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft has created its own website on the subject.
