Do I have to clean the sidewalk in front of my property?

Yes, according to the street cleaning statutes of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, property owners are responsible for cleaning the sidewalks adjacent to their property.

If, e.g. in traffic-calmed zones, there is no demarcated sidewalk, a strip 1.50 m wide, measured from the property boundary adjacent to the street towards the middle of the road, must be cleaned.
