In the event of an acute life-threatening illness, a wedding ceremony can, under certain conditions and with little formal effort, be carried out at very short notice, regardless of opening hours, even outside the registry office, e.g. in a clinic. The registry office of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is responsible here if the wedding venue is within the town boundaries.
