Even if the temperatures are still mild at the moment - winter is definitely coming. To ensure that stove owners in Kevelaer are well prepared for the cold season, we are continuing the "Correct heating with wood" campaign from last year. 100 citizens have already completed the online course, and 50 free vouchers for the stove driving license are now available again.
The 90-minute online course provides practical information on how to heat with wood in an environmentally friendly and efficient way. Participants learn, among other things:
- How to significantly reduce wood consumption with the right technology
- How to reduce the cleaning effort
- How to light the fire optimally - for example from above
- And how your wallet and the environment benefit in equal measure
The results speak for themselves
On average, graduates save around 30% firewood. Even long-time stove users report that they have gained valuable new insights from the course - small changes in heating technology can have a big impact.
The course is flexible, concludes with a short test and ends with the stove driving license - a recognized environmental certificate.
