There are many reasons for this - the result is clear: according to the latest forecast figures, 3,258 children will start school in the Kleve district in a few days' time. In the previous year, the number of first-graders totaled 3,341.
According to the forecast, these "i-Dötzchen" are distributed among the 16 towns and municipalities in the district of Kleve as follows: Bedburg-Hau 143, Emmerich am Rhein 312, Geldern 374, Goch 327, Issum 109, Kalkar 143, Kerken 110, Kleve 495, Kranenburg 105, Rees 202, Rheurdt 50, Straelen 148, Uedem 103, Wachtendonk 102, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer 274 and Weeze 119.
