Due to the large-scale construction site in the city center of Kevelaer, there will probably be restrictions in the operation of the citizen buses until the beginning of October 2025. Several stops cannot be served during this period. The stops "Antonius Kirche", "Altes Rathaus", "Marktstraße" and "Twistedener Straße" will be closed. The community bus associations will be operating the following modified routes during this time:
Redirection of the Winnekendonk public bus:
- Outward route through Kevelaer: via Willibrordstrasse and Annastrasse to Venloer Strasse.
- Return from Kevelaer-Nord: via Egmontstraße, past the hospital to the station.
Please note: Due to this detour, the "Venloer Straße" stop cannot be reached on the way back to the city center.
Redirection of the Kervenheim public bus:
- Outward route through Kevelaer: via Willibrordstrasse and Annastrasse to Venloer Strasse.
Redirection of the Wetten public bus:
- Outward journey through Kevelaer: The stops "Biegstraße" and "Berliner Straße" are not served in addition to the stops already mentioned.
Twisteden citizen bus:
- The service will run unchanged, but the stops "Antonius Kirche", "Altes Rathaus", "Marktstraße" and "Twistedener Straße" will also be omitted.
Stadtwerke Kevelaer and the representatives of the citizens' bus associations ask all passengers for their understanding for these necessary changes.
