From March 16 to 20, 2026, the Employment Agency's Training Week will take place nationwide. This campaign week will also take place here in Kevelaer: The Kevelaer Youth Employment Agency, together with the Kevelaer School Center, invites companies from the region to give young people practical insights into the world of work - directly in local companies.
Because career guidance is most effective where it can be experienced. Where real people talk about their day-to-day work, where questions are allowed and where young people can feel whether a profession suits them.
School and business in direct exchange
The career exploration days of the Kevelaer comprehensive school and the Kardinal-van-Galen-Gymnasium were deliberately scheduled for this week. The aim is to strengthen the exchange between schools and the regional economy and to give young people realistic insights into various professional fields. They can get to know professions, ask questions and develop initial perspectives for their professional future - accompanied by people from the field.
Course of the campaign week
From March 16 to 19, 2026, career explorations and company tours will take place. Companies will open their doors, show their day-to-day work and make training a tangible and personal experience.
The highlight will be the "Ausbildung erLEBEN" training fair on the school grounds on March 20, 2026. Here, companies can present their training opportunities and get in touch with potential trainees at an early stage.
