New impetus for Kevelaer: Daniela Cox takes over as Head of Kevelaer Marketing

Daniela Cox will take over the management of the Kevelaer Marketing department from fall 2025. With her strategic expertise, close ties to the region and a wealth of experience, she is ideally suited to this key role.

Experience in tourism, marketing and cooperation

Daniela Cox is 35 years old and grew up in Kevelaer. After a semester abroad at California State University in Fullerton (USA), she completed her Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Tourism at the University of Innsbruck (Austria). She has worked in various positions in Cologne and Bonn, including at the Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility. Most recently, she worked in Düsseldorf for a tour operator in the field of cooperation marketing. There she gained extensive experience in strategic brand communication and partner acquisition.

Back home - with a clear vision

"It is a matter close to my heart to now be able to contribute my professional experience to my home town," says Daniela Cox. "I see great potential in Kevelaer - as a business location, as a tourist destination and as a liveable city for all generations. Together with administration, politics and business, I want to raise this potential and make it even more visible."

Close integration of city marketing and business development

With the new management, Kevelaer continues to rely on the proven dual role of city marketing and business development. Mayor Dr. Dominik Pichler is delighted to have a competent successor to Verena Rohde: "With Ms. Cox, we have been able to gain a committed and professionally experienced personality who knows Kevelaer and at the same time brings new perspectives with her. She is taking over a well-established structure and can build on what has been successfully developed in recent years - to continue it with her own signature and provide new impetus."

Welcome back to Kevelaer!

We look forward to working with Daniela Cox and welcome her to the Kevelaer city administration team!
