The Council forms committees in which the majority of political decisions are discussed in advance. In some matters, the committees can also make final decisions.
The election committee of the council of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer decides on the division of the electoral area into electoral districts as well as on the admission of election proposals and determines the election results after an election.
The meetings of the election committee take place in meeting room 210/211 in the town hall on Peter-Plümpe-Platz and are open to the public with a few exceptions. Members of the public are welcome to attend!
