This year's school summer vacation in North Rhine-Westphalia begins on Friday, July 11, 2025. In the week before the vacations, the annual report cards will be issued to pupils at schools. The Kleve district education authority would like to point out that parents and pupils at primary, secondary and special schools can call the school authority's "number to help with school report problems": Telephone 02821 85-497.
The number will be available on Friday, July 11, 2025, Monday, July 14, and Tuesday, July 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. respectively. During this time, the school supervisors for the Kleve district will answer questions on the subject of school report grades.
The contacts on the "report telephone" provide confidential advice and give callers possible contacts for their questions. The service strengthens the trusting cooperation between parents and school in order to jointly achieve the goal of good education and upbringing. With this in mind, the "school report telephone" serves as a mediator to improve communication in particular. Experience has shown that questions in connection with a report and individual achievements can be clarified in a dialog between the parties involved. With a view to further cooperation, an amicable solution to the problem is sought. If school psychological issues such as exam anxiety or refusal to perform are raised, the school supervisory authority for the district of Kleve will refer the callers to the school psychological counseling center for the district of Kleve, among others.
