In Kevelaer, the expansion of the fiber optic network is being carried out by Deutsche Glasfaser, epcan GmbH and Deutsche Telekom.

Deutsche Glasfaser has already connected all districts, as well as the Kevelaer North and South areas, via the private-sector expansion. The still underserved outlying areas with less than 30 Mbit/s are currently being connected as part of the district-wide "Weiße Flecken" (white spots) funding program. Deutsche Telekom is currently working with its partners to expand the fiber optic network in Kevelaer. In this context, employees of Ranger Marketing & Vertriebs GmbH are on the road in the city area on behalf of Telekom and provide information about a possible fiber optic connection at the front door.
The advisors can be recognized by their Telekom clothing, a photo ID and a letter of identification. An identity check is also possible via the toll-free number 0800 - 330 97 65.
Meetings take place at the front door and the apartment is only entered on request. When concluding a contract, the 14-day right of withdrawal and a telephone quality assurance apply.
